Just like its name - an excellent hunter among insects - Mantis. Mantis has been carefully designed to stand out from the pikal knife products in its category. It proudly possesses all the high-performance features of CavolKnife and unique design elements, showing our continuous pursuit of craftsmanship.
The blade of Mantis is machined from ELMAX steel and flat ground. The knife style is pikal, with a bird's beak blade profile, a long and narrow working edge and a fully accessible flipper for quick and ambidextrous one-handed opening.
The blade is encased in a highly refined, ergonomic handle.Ultem,an awesome option for a handle material. Ultem has a distinctive honey-amber color, and when you put it in direct light, it almost seems to glow. In terms of performance, Ultem improves greatly on other materials commonly used in knife handles.Ultem is stronger, stiffer, lighter, and more resistant to wear. What does this mean for users? No matter how hard you grip it, it will not bend. Even if you carry the knife for years, you won’t see wear on the pivot or in the handle texture. Maybe best of all, Ultem doesn’t mind changes in temperature or exposure to UV light, leaving you with a dependable material to grip your knife.
At the same time, it provides a solid structure for its sturdy Linerlock mechanism. The drop design of the front and back halves of the handle makes the transition of the hand feel very natural. The handle is equipped with a sturdy wire pocket clip to support left and right side carry.
The PVE version HRC will be reduced by 1-2 points, and the HRC value will be in the range of 58-61.

The blade of the stonewashed version is made of ELMAX steel. The surface is continuously polished by hand and then undergoes an hyperfine stone washed step for 5 hours to completely eliminate the water grinding lines and present an ultra-delicate stone washed surface.

The bark texture carving, which uses the same process as the Mantis titanium version, increases the grip of the handle while also presenting a different kind of beauty. It’s like carving on amber, a texture formed over time.
